| Fanfiction Rec List:
Notes on the List: This list has been broken down by fandom, and each fandom broken down into gen, slash or het so people know what they’re getting into. The vast majority of this list is genfic, however. Generally fandoms where there are also slash and het recs will have several different pairings there – I look for good plot and writing, not pairings.
These are all stories I consider very, very good. There are a handful of fics I consider truly exceptional, and I’m going to mark them with this sign: #. I just think they’re that good. (Also, anything Silver Pard writes is genius and well worth a look in, ahem.)
A (C) means the story is complete. A (D) means discontinued.
Oh yeah, the crossovers… like I said, I only put things I think are very good on here, and it is so hard to find decent crossovers… so even if you don’t normally look, it might be something interesting to check out, yeah?

| My Fanfic List
This is a list of all my fanfic still online (I deleted quite a bit of it from when I was younger a few years ago)... so far minus my joint authored efforts, but they'll probably be added too. Some of the early stuff is pretty bad (though pretty good for my age, if I do say so myself!).
The recent I've used the FFN links is I have -some- fic versions posted on LJ, but not all, and many were posted pre-tagging... thus a nightmare to find! I've used FFN wherever possible (exceptions being for the FF8 drabbles and a Doctor Who fic).

2) Ask your flist to post questions in the comments.
For example:
'One, Nine and Fifteen move in together. Is this a really bad idea?'
'Under what circumstances might Five and Seven fall in love?'
'What would Two experience in Silent Hill?'
'What Pokémon would Eight have?'
'Write a drabble in which Three and Eleven FIGHT CRIME.' (...possibly not technically a question.)
3) After your flist has asked enough questions, round them up and answer them using the fifteen characters you selected beforehand, then post them.

| This is hardly perfect since, y'know, I've coded it myself... but here is my attempt at combining a score table for the Shadow Hearts games. They're in game order, but
for reference: I played the THIRD, then the FIRST, then SECOND.
NR means "not recorded" as all games don't follow quite the same score system!
I'm going to use three sections: general stats, clear game data, and character stats.

| So, over Christmas my dad and I sat down to watch The Vampire’s Assistant. It was on TV at some ungodly hour (I think you’ve got the audience wrong if you put this film on at 2/3AM, just fyi, Sky channels). I’m a big fan of the books, whereas my father has never read them. So I’m going to write about the film and what I liked and also compare with the books (what I think works better etc.).
It’s probably worth noting that Darren Shan has noted on numerous occasions that the film is –based- on his books, not an adaption, so I wasn’t expecting it to be the same when I went into it.

It’s certainly worth a watch – it’s a different take on vampires, but it’s not Twilight! This is fairly short, but it's supposed to be frenetic and jerky and atmospheric. Whether it succeeds is another matter! Reviews very welcome. Oh, and it goes without saying, this is my first step into Silent Hill fandom...
