BioI'm an eighteen year old female. Right now my journal contains more news stories, writing and general uselessness than anything of real weight.
I like writing and would like to be an author when I'm older, although I've slipped more into fanfiction at the moment. I do have an ongoing origial fiction that I am not currently posting online (hey, I can hope that at SOME POINT it could get published). I also enjoy a lot of reading, particularly books by Darren Shan, Karin Lowachee, Chuck Palahniuk and Jodi Picoult. I'm a very avid reader. I'm also into computer programming and have been manually doing web design and creating web pages/layouts since I was 12.
The bands I'm currently into are Arrogant Worms, Blind Guardian, Alkaline Trio, Rise Against, Coheed and Cambria, and Thursday. Anime and manga-wise, I like Death Note, D.Gray-Man, Bleach, Black Cat, Fullmetal Alchemist and Monster. I also like the cartoon Danny Phantom. I don't play many computer and playstation games, but I'm particularly partial to Psychonauts, Day of the Tentacle, Grim Fandango, the Monkey Island series (I do love adventure games!), the new Sam and Max series (and the old game) and Final Fantasy VI, VII, VIII, IX, X and XII.
I am very into fanfiction and mostly write in the Danny Phantom and Harry Potter categories. The vast majority of my fanfic is on fanfiction.net (one piece is only on whofic due to FFN second person rules), but some is on here, too. I mostly write one-shots as my commitment is appalling. I currently have 3 ongoing work in progresses, 1 of which is nearly complete. I mostly write and read stories without pairings, but they're in short supply. I can cope with pairings; I just often find them very overbearing in a story.
